TV, Telephone & Data Distribution

This Section encompasses the distribution of all TV (cable and satellite) Telephone, High-Speed Internet and Home Networking services throughout the home. If this isn't what you're interested in you can select another product Sub-Category from the menu above.

We offer turn-key solutions for those who are building new homes and want to have it Pre-Wired properly. Once we are done and you take possession, there will be very little left to do to get you on the phone and watching TV; We install and connect all the jacks and mount all plates in each room, the service provider's technicians need only connect their feed line to our lines at the Head End (usually the basement mechanical room), and unless set-top boxes are required for your TVs, they're done.

All our lines are terminated with the appropriate connectors and clearly identified at the Head End with printed laminated labels, no masking tape here, and they are ready to be used, just connect and go (service feeds required). If you are unsure of what you want/need, we are here to help, to get you started here are a few things to bear in mind:

There must be a minimum of 1 TV line* and 1 phone line in each room, except in bathrooms, mud rooms, laundry rooms, etc..
*
TV line means RG6 co-axial cable which is used for basic and digital cable as well as satellite, we will therefore simply refer to cable and satellite lines as TV lines or simply RG6.

High-Speed Internet and Home Data Networks are both distributed on the same lines and will simply be referred to as Data lines. High-Speed Internet from Cable Service Providers uses cable (RG6) to bring the service into the home and into to the High-Speed modem only, the modem then connects to the computer(s) using a Network (Data) connection. We do not recommend installing your modem next to the computer but rather at the Head End. This will facilitate the use of routers or other network hardware to distribute wired Internet connections to multiple locations throughout the home over Data lines. A Data line where ever you want wired internet connections is best, regardless of the type of high-speed service you have or intend to use.

The cabling system we use allows any combination of up to 6 independent phone/data/TV jacks in 1 single outlet. To see an example click HERE (note 1 of our phone jacks can accommodate up to 4 independent phone lines provided you have a compatible multi-line hand-set)

Before you begin you should have a pencil & eraser, and a blow-up of your floor plan that you can afford to mark up.
